Default Re: #72 NBA Player Of All-Time According to InsideHoops

The players I would consider here most

Earl Monroe
Bill Sharman
Bob Lanier
Dave Bing

Sidney Moncrief
Alex English
Marques Johnson

Chris Webber
Kevin Johnson
Alonzo Mourning

Those guys (with Gasol excluded obviously) would round out my top 80.

Lanier here is a fine choice, but I prefer Monroe and Sharman for their contributions to Championship teams with the rest of the resume and peak factors being relatively close. I view Sharman as the Parish to Russell's Bird for those first five teams.

Man so many options. Earl "The Pearl" Monroe, Alzono Mourning, Bob Lanier, Kevin Johnson, Lenny Wilkens, Tim Hardaway, Grant Hill....wow.

I am going to pick Grant Hill. Hill was easily one of the five best players in the NBA before his injuries. He was selected First Team All NBA once and Second Team four times. He finished in the top ten of the MVP Voting five consecutive seasons. Hill is one of the few players in NBA history to average 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists over an entire season. Grant Hill
