Yes, Dwight Howard is more athletic and better at catching lobs.

But yeah, with Nash and Pau there, he will get a lot of lobs thrown his way.

Like I said, using this pre-season game to compare is fail-esque. Why not statistics or even footage from last year if your honest point is to compare each individual's capabilities in regards to rising for and completing a lob?

From what i remember last year ... yes ... dude had BEAST games ... Lakers fans dwell in the inconsistency which is fair ... but he was amazing at times ... that 30 rebound game ... triple double in the playoffs for a CENTER ... wish him the best in Philly hopefully he takes the East right by the nuts

Bynum is the second best C in the league because of different reasons. He got a ton of good looks from Kobe and Pau, but he couldn't always take advantage of them the way Dwight can. He would finish well with his soft hands, but rarely finished as strong as Dwight.

The only thing Bynum might be better than Dwight at is actually posting up and getting his own look. Dwight turns the ball over a lot more, despite all the criticisms towards Bynum about not being able to handle doubles. Dwight gets picked a lot.

Post/paint production isnt the same thing as lob dunks. Besides...Bynum caught a lot of lobs. Just nobody cared because he gets 9 inches off the ground to do it.
