The standards for the HOF isn't that high, but for my brief explanations:
Carmelo hasn't had much of a different career than Vince Carter has. Already multi All-NBAer and will get more All-NBA teams and All-Star Teams.
Rose, if he returns healthy, already has a ROY and MVP to his name. If he every gets a ring or two down the road, with his multiple All-Star selections, there's no question he shouldn't get there. I already think he is.
Amar'e was pretty highly decorated before his returning injury problems. Has some solid playoff runs and even got to the WCF a couple of times. I do think he should get there.
Bosh's eligibility will depend on how the Heat play in the future, but he's already a 7x All-Star and a very good 3rd option. Was putting up multiple 20-10 seasons before he joined the Heat.

And if you do feel that way, Chris Mullin made the HOF not too long ago. I don't think Chris better than either as players nor did he have a much better career than both.
I can understand if you mean the HOF should be for the elite players, which still shouldn't discount either Vince or Amare. Amare was All-NBA First team at least once. Vince, while doesn't have many All-NBA teams, would probably get there on the "fame" eligibility.
