Default Is the season opener that exciting?

Teams are generally sloppy as hell and my Lakers are going to be particularly bad considering the fact that they have so many new pieces who haven't had a chance to play together. It will be more enjoyable to watch about 20 games into the season or so.

I think Christmas is when the games really start getting good.

The Clipper/Laker game this week will be crazy though

Yes it is. Finally seeing your team play in a meaningful game after months. It sucks I have to miss 30 mins of the Heat game. I wanted to see them get their rings.

Hell yeah it is.. I don't care if it was one game, and it was Bobcats and the Bucks, I'd still watch. Basketball is back baby! Celtics/Heat is going to be

The start of the season is awesome...you get to see what level everyone will be playing at.

And although everyone's playing level at the start of the year usually looks different than what it is in May and June, the first few games of the year still gives you a whole lot more information to go with about the players than you had before the season ever started.

So, it's not about the actual wins and losses at the start of the year. Each game is only 1/82nd of the year. Instead, it's more about just getting to judge your players and see what they will be bringing this year.

Are you kidding me??? I can't wait to see the Celtics-Heat game. We get to see how the Cetics look with their new pieces, and see how well Ray and Shard can impact games for the Heat.

And this year especially will have a very entertaining start.

LA and/or Miami has a chance to be a legendary team.

OKC may still be great.

I don't really think anyone else has a chance to win the championship, but i still wanna see which team can go to the conference championships and have relative success (with the two super-teams there, if i was a fan of another team, i'd consider getting to the conference finals and at least challenging LA or Miami a little a big time success).

I'm excited about no longer seeing "preseason lol" in game threads. Now we get to see "regulars season hero" and shit like that.
