Wait till around March, those idiots at ESPN will all be singing a different tune.
Honestly I feel more confidant now about Lakers' chance, ESPN is wrong 99.99% of the time with their predictions.

Defending champs should always be favourites when bringing back the same core.

That's such a cop-out logic, sadly that's exactly how idiots at ESPN think.
So I guess if 92' Dream Team resurrected and entered the NBA this season, you'd still be so stubborn and pick the Heat?

Howard, Nash, Bryant & Gasol is clearly superior to Wade, James, Bosh and Allen...especially considering Miami's two best players don't compliment each other nearly as well as Nash could playing along side Howard and Gasol.

Only worry I have is Kobe, but he has looked terrific in the pre-season playing off the ball (and his efficiency showed).

I already bet my friend $500 that if LA and Miami meet, Lakers are winning.
He said "easy money", we'll see.

We don't know how this will work in L.A yet, Miami are proven and we know what to expect. They have speed on the perimeter to give this team trouble inside and out. They can drag out the bigs more on the perimeter.

I fancy our chances against anybody if healthly but it will take time and we don't know if it will truely work YET. Will the bench factor be an issue? and will the age factor hurt come playoff time? we will see.

Miami as the champions deserve that ranking for NOW.

Let me ask you this, who do you think were the favorites in 2010-2011 season?
Lakers (back to back champions) or Heat?

They were already saying the Heat to win it all but some did they say they'd fall in the Finals "maybe" win it the following year.

No one is "clearly" the favorite. Anyone arguing otherwise is a straight up homer.

Yeah because Miami has a "great" coach...
You think it's a coincidence that Cole, Chalmers, Jones and the rest of their role players became so well known as soon as James, Wade & Bosh joined forces?

Same will happen in LA, Nash, Kobe, Dwight & Gasol will make our scrubs better too.

Might be worth checking ESPN but pretty damn sure L.A had more votes than Miami. Hell fair few were picking Boston to beat them.

Well, it was 12-12 between the Lakers and Heat (I guess they give the tie to the defending champs).

12 votes for Miami and 12 votes for LA, 1 vote for Boston.
LA won back-to-back titles and made three straight final appearances, and yet ESPN showed Miami as much love as they did LA (a potential dynasty).

Now the Lakers are the most talented squad in the league and they get 8 ****ing votes, and Miami gets 26?

That entire website should be called WeSuckOffLBJ247.com
