If two years ago someone came up to you and said that in two years, Nash and Howard would be Lakers, Ray Allen would be a member of the Heat, Jason Terry a Celtic, Joe Johnson and his albatross contract would be a Net, and James Harden would be a Rocket. Which one of these would you find the hardest to believe/ straight up laughable? Or did all of these seem not tooooo farfetched in your mind?
to be honest, not any of these prediction is hard to believe... maybe the Allen to Heat... and yet, at least in my case i don't associate Allen too much with the Celtics franchise... to me the moment he left Seattle he became a journeyman.

It's funny. Two years ago we wanted Allen and it had been a speculation. It came back during last summer and it finally happened.
Howard to the Lakers, yeah. Brooklyn wasn't getting him.
Figured the contract guaranteed Joe Johnson would die a Hawk.
Knew OKC was going to trade Harden after re-upping Ibaka. With Perk, KD and Westbrook shored up for years...either Ibaka or Harden was going to have to go.
I kinda had a feeling we'd lose Ray, but didn't think he'd sign for pennies with the Heat. I had figured the Clippers would push hardest for him or he'd stay with the Celtics.
If two years ago someone told me that the Clippers would be a legitimate force in the west and serious competition against the Lakers in their division, I would have laughed in their face.

Do you really believe the Clippers are a threat against the Lakers in their division? Serious question, not trying to troll you. Im just trying to follow the logic that many people seem to agree with you on. The way I see it, people project the Clippers to be 4th seed at best, possibly 5th or 6th with injury. Having said that, people also seem to think with Harden gone the road to the WCF or even the Finals for the Lakers became solidified. Ipso facto, how does a team at 4th seed win the division title to a team 2 or 3 seeds above them? Legit force in the west, yes. Serious competition against the Lakers? I dont know. Not more than OKC, SAS, and Dallas. Your thoughts?
