The Nets are talented enough to blowout the lowly Raptors by 20-30, but since this is the first game of the season the team needs to adjust to their best shape. For this reason it will be a close one, we may even lose it if Deron has a bad game. Anyway, its just one game and all I want to see is improvement at this point.

Yeah they should get better chemistry but I think the defense is going to be a problem.
Joe had a bad game but he should be ok.

Did you watch the game? The mascot came out of the rafters.

The defense is going to improve over time, at least I believe. The Raptors are lucky to have lost by just 7pts due to the fact that Nets aint in their best shape at this point, the next time it wont be this close.

The Nets spent the past several months waiting for this first season in Brooklyn to get under way.

And now that it finally has, after the Nets picked up a 107-100 victory over the Raptors for their first win in their first game inside the brand-new Barclays Center, they are happy to simply be focused on playing basketball, as opposed to making history.

“It has been 10 days since we played a game, so we’re just happy to get out here and play against somebody else,” said Deron Williams after Saturday’s win. “That was the biggest thing, to kind of get a rhythm back.
