Dikembe Mutombo

- 8x NBA All-Star (and he was a back up and was selected by the coaches usually...which is more respectable than being voted in by the fans)

- 4x Defensive Player of the Year (and he came no lower than third in DPOY voting from a nine year stretch between 1993 and 2002... )

- also made 3 all-nba teams

Once again, Grant Hill. IMO Him and Thompson are the 2 best players left.

I still can't believe Ben Wallace over Grant Hill. Hill goes from the next Jordan to the next Serge Ibaka. Do people really have that short of memories, or were you just not watching in the '90's?

The guy was incredible.

I've given this a lot of thought and I have to go with Grant Hill here too.

When you factor in peak (arguably the highest of anyone left on the board) and longevity (ok, his peak was only about 6 or 7 years, but he's played a greater number of seasons than most players), then I think he's the most deserving candidate left on the board.
