Slow down. This is a guy coming in to relieve the starter. Might want to see what happens if he has to start multiple games. How many times have we seen a guy come in and put up numbers for a game or two as a starter then fall flat when teams adjust?
People are idiots.
It's like the kid in Philly. One INT returned for a TD, a fumble in the end zone returned for a TD, another INT returned for a TD (called back due to a holding call way away from the play).
If it's Vick, the spin is "Vick sucks. 109th TO of the year". Instead it'll be "well, he's just a kid and that O-line sucks!".
One of the best chances for a backup to do well is that first game in. D hasn't prepped for him at all, O has a special set of plays ready in case the sh!t hits the fan and he has to play. But people love to overreact.
Still beyond me why the NFL doesn't fix the tie rule, they've tried fixing overtime a bit already, they need to take the next step in the offseason and get rid of this. Both teams are essentially a loser with ties...
The guy that beat me in fantasy in week one (he drafted Eric Weddle with his second pick and the Steelers defense with his fourth pick) 101-97 when my entire team scored two TD's....I'm beating him 190-68 this week and all he has left is Roethlisberger and Michael Bush.
Just shows you how crazy fantasy football can be week to week. Granted, his team sucks ass and if my team just scores three TD I beat him, but still.
Kaepernick >>> Smith. Trade Alex Smith to Jacksonville for picks/pieces.
lol Kaepernick was god damn awful today. He's lucky that he's fast or else we would've lost today. If he plays like this in the future we are going to have an extremely hard time scoring. Teams are going to dial up on him, contain him and force him to stay in the pocket.
