There is nothing wrong with diverse cultural preferences in a nation. However, America has done a poor job of having peoples' voices being reflected in their government. With that being said I want to make clear that their are some voices that are not worth listening to or having them be represented, but people shouldn't have other views imposed on them. Extreme conservative values shouldn't hold non conservatives hostage and vice versa.

Yea, but people's voices are not being reflected accurately. For example, in congress it seems that people have to protect their flanks on the extreme left or right side of the spectrum or lose their primary challenge. As a democracy their should always be questions on how it can improve and reflect its population better. I'm sure if it did that then we would see less extremism and division in countries.
Who is the craziest Southern Governor right now? Which one do you think would mention in a public speech seceding from "Obama's Socialism" first? I can't wait.
So, I've been reading tweets from republicans that want to move to Canada since Obama's victory. The logic of moving to a more liberal/social democrat country because Obama is fascinating. If these Americans are serious I wonder where they will move when they realize Canada has gun control, gay marriage, legal abortions, and single payer healthcare.

If you try to explain that too them you'll just get blank looks followed by anger. Same for when they threaten to move to Australia.
I can't take a party that has Sarah Palin and Paul Ryan as VP candidates seriously.
not only that but people like rick perry, herman cain, and michele bachmann are actually given a platform to speak on. as an australian i shouldn't have even heard of these people... they should be under lock and key.
