Corporate profits are the highest in history right now. Trickle down isn't working. Time to try something else.

Maybe because companies don't want to expand because they will get hit with extra taxes. The free stuff has a cost attached to it. Whether you kick it down the road or not, it still burdens us. We'll have to pay extra for SS. Companies have to pay extra for Obamacare, not to mention normal families. Redistribution doesn't work either. It's time to try something else.

WHAT!??

We've being trying trickle down for 30 years. It doesn't work.

You're right that it's time to try something different.

Companies are not expanding because there isn't demand in nationally or globally. So, instead of creating more dead money why not invest in infrastructure and lower future costs????

No, but does less money make him more likely to hold on to his workers?

It doesn't factor in at all.

Demand for his product will dictate the amount of help he hires.

Correct. And since demand is so low, yet supply is so high, it's pretty easy to see how to fix our economic problems.

and if general public had more money there would be more demand

you are looking at it from a partial equilibrium perspective, should consider both sides

Some more GOP butthurt:

Virginia GOP Official: Obama Will Go To Hell

Quote:
Virginia Republican party official Bob FitzSimmonds is by no means a fortune teller, but he feels confident guessing that President Obama is going to hell.
In a Facebook posting, FitzSimmonds, who is a close associate of Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, speculated that Obama would live a long life but when he died at 90, he would be going to hell:

FitzSimmonds stood by those comments, telling the Virginia-Pilot, “my Facebook post was not about Obama going to Hell. It was about his obsession with blame shifting and I don’t really see anything inappropriate about it.”
But a spokesman for Cuccinelli, who is running for Virginia governor, was quick to dismiss the comments, saying “Mr. FitzSimmonds does not speak for our campaign, and we don’t agree with his assessment.”
