oh well... i know kobe tossed his arms out to try and draw a foul but that's certainly not exclusive to kobe by any means ,and i don't think he meant to inflict as much damge as he did, it was actually kinda nice to see ginobli the flopper get knocked around a bit... but if the nba really wants to crack down on this type of thing maybe they should quit rewarding players for jumping into defenders, the flailing arms trick, the flops and the shouts of anguish when these guys get bumped... it's almost become a part of the job desciption to be as good an actor as your are a player...
anyone think he will appeal it and play tonight, i have tickets for the game tonight
I feel bad for you man
I think Kobe's arm intentionally acted that way to draw a foul by contact the other player
I don't think he was trying to wack him by any chance
Even if he meant it, it looked enough like he didn't mean it. Know what I mean. On slow-mo it looks worse of course cause it looks like he swings his arm harder.
It was clearly accidental. The NBA is so stupid sometimes. Here you have a marquee talent coming to town for one night only in your own backyard, yet you suspend him? A few empty seats will be in MSG.
The NBA seriously does not want to see Kobe suceed anymore. Out of all the stars they seem to dislike Kobe the most since Shaq left. You can see it the way he is officiated against other stars and you see it with this suspension.
Raja Bell clotheslines Kobe = 1 game
Kobe accidentally hits MAnu= 1 game
