Default Would Phil Jackson be willing to coach a team without a top 10 player of all time?

How do you view it?

Would Lebron sign an exclusive offer to promote Payless Shoes?

Would Durant be willing to play for the Kings?

Yes. He's so humble and he gives lots of money to charity and he's perfect and loves his fans and stays loyal to OKC and he never says curse words and he loves his mother and he's a perfect gentleman and he's nice to Westbrook and he helps old ladies cross the street and he takes in stray cats and dogs.

An argument can be made that Phil Jackson made these guys top ten players of all time by dragging them to titles...

An argument can also be made that the players made Jackson the greatest coach of all time.

If Phil Jackson wanted to cement his legacy as more than a champion of circumstance he would go to a young up and coming team that right now has no superstar, and coach them to a title.

Let's see him coach the Grizzlies to a title, and then we can call him the best coach ever.

I agree his talent has always been so good that he SHOULD have won. At the same time he is a specialist at managing great talent making him a great coach. Not the best coach ever though becasue he never had to coach mediocre talent or out coach another teams talent.

Pop immediately come to mind as someone who has coached up ALL of his teams.

No this argument can not be made. Jordan was considered the GOAT by some before he even won his first ring.

And if Jordan had not won a title that would be an opinion that about 3 people would share. If he had won less than 3 nobody would consider him any greater than they do Wilt, which most people say is 4th, or 5th.
