A trade that initially seemed great for Philly may end up crippling the franchise for years. Bynum doesn't strike me as the type to stay in peak condition through rehab and he's already been proven to be injury-prone.
They don't have to resign him at the end of this year.
Lol Grant Hill will be out two months total with this bone bruise. Guess those bruises are no joke
Actually reading up on them they arent no joke. They are different than the black and blue deep bruises from what I read. Definitively painful and takes time to heal. Playing with one could lead to other problems/injuries. Again no doctor on this just casual reading on why a bone bruise would keep an athlete out this long.
It's not really crippling, because there wasn't ever anything to cripple. If he can't come back healthy then they let him walk and blow the thing up and rebuild. If he comes back strong then they build around a top 2 center. Either way they're in better shape than a lot of teams who are stuck in mediocrity.

Dang. Yea Odom had a minor one and was just out 3 weeks, Trey Thompkins has been out 2+ months with his and Hill isn't expected back for a month which would be a little more than 2 months. So basically the dreaded "bone bruise" is killing our team right now lol.
