Exclamation Should Dwyane Wade consider an early retirement?

Injury prone, and because he lacks any semblance of a shooting touch his value in this league from here on out is in rapid decline. Stern has given refs cues to ween him off his 50/50 calls so the league could promote some new, younger talent and Wade didn't take it well... he began to look really helpless out there last season, as an NBA fan and admirer of Wade's it was tough even for me to watch.

Entire game is predicated around wreckless bulldozing into other players bodies then begging for a foul. Between all this wreckless play and the PED chemicals pumping through his veins Wade's body appears to be in rapid decline. It's sad to see but true. Last season Kobe (4 years his senior) made him look real bad, 33 points right in Wades face on .609% (wtf WADE!?) vs Wades 16 points on .412 and it looked like Kobe knew the old dog was struggling so he let up and was going easy on him the 2nd half

If Wade can't even guard the leagues old testament how the **** is he gonna start guarding the new testament of young and athletic hungry talent. Wade might barely get by next season, it's possible his sharp decline will bring him to humiliating Smush Parker-like numbers. Wade should retire now, before he tarnishes his career anymore.

End the suffering Wade, I think it's time to retire ol boy. Thoughts?

So after one injury season where he averaged 23/5/5 on 50% with 1.3 blocks(career high) in 33 minutes and an NBA Championship, he should retire? This is a smart thread.

23 points per game, 50% shooting, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 1.3 blocks (career high), in limited minutes, NBA CHAMPION AGAIN. That would be the most successful season in Cleveland Cavalier History outside of Lebron.

He should retire before the NBA catches him for using steroids.

Not this season because I can't wait to see Kobe abuse him in the finals. After his humiliating lose it'd be a good time to pack up and go home though.

If anyone on the Heat team should retire, it's Mike Miller.

Yes definitely. He's not getting superstar calls, now he's average. His best years were around 2004-2005 now he has no motivation to play. Banged up with rings, why try anymore? ESP with lbj on the team. Honestly he had ZERO impact in the playoffs or finals. His most memorable play is how he tried to hurt someone on a play, and didn't get a flagrant two. Honestly that's all I remember him doing. It was all Lebron.
