What is it about the Small Forward position? Last year we got Cassipi, I thought he would be solid. He was failure. This year with Miles, again I think he's going to be solid. Even more of a failure.

Good win for us, its gonna be tough without Wallace and Brooks. The team was up by like 20+pts and yet we let them into the game again. Avery Johnson is good at learning from his mistakes, isnt he?

To be fair, Evans & Blatche made the difference by blocking shots & getting rebounds. Cavs got back in the without them. Maybe he should try Lopez & Evans and Hump & Blatche next time.

I haven't seen the game, but I'm willing to bet the lead was so large because our bench is so bad. This has been happening just about every game lately. The starters will go out in the second quarter and any lead is automatically gone or, if the team is down, the lead doubles by the time the starters come back in.
We'll creep back into the game until the latter stages of the third quarter when the reserves have to go back in, and then whatever work is done is lost until the last 6-7 minutes when the starters return and make a run before running out of time.
Just looking at the box, I can see that trend continuing... Three of our five starters were on the + side of the +/- and every single bench player was on the - side.
For you guys, two of five starters were in the - category with one at 0. Every single one of your bench guys was in the + category.

Before the season started, I knew we weren't going to the playoffs with this squad, so don't expect any great results or runs of wins or whatever.. But at least almost every game I got something to look forward to or can enjoy at least one of our guys' performances...
Goddamn Andy, where did that come from. I knew he was having a very good start to the season, but this is was pretty unexpected.

that's not always going to be what we need, though. having a strong perimeter defender and all-around hustle guy (or two or three) is essential for any good team, and brooks is a pretty wizardly scorer off the bench. we might not have needed him this time against the cavs, but most games we probably won't be so lucky...
