1. Bleacher report? Stop

2. I brought up Bettis because his CAREER is closer to Curtis Martin than anyone else. So find me where he is ranked highly. You dont need to bring him up but your argument revolved around careers of RBs. And Bettis is 500yds short of Martin, 1 TD more than Martin. So it shouldnt be hard to find top 10 lists where he is not so much listed but an honoroable mention as a worthy top 10 candidate. Basically your whole argument for Curtis Martin could be applied to Jerome Bettis.

Jerome Bettis would be top-20 for me, probably top-15 all time

And yeah, above Gale

Once you go below 4ypc that starts to get ugly though...

Prime what would be your top ten RBs that you would take to put on your team.

Lets say you have a team and you get to pick any RB that you want, in order, list the top 10 you would take.

It's career, but you don't know as a GM how there career will play out. You're trying to evaluate as if you had a draft to do. So we aren't judging longevity or anything like that.

If I'm drafting them like they are coming out of college ill take either Jim Brown or Peterson....I think they impress the most as physical specimens

If I know ahead of time how their career plays out ill take Emmitt's career...

Maybe ill do a top10 tomorrow

Nobody even comes close to him in his prime, not even Walter Payton.

Dickerson in '83, '84 and '86. Averaged 120 yards a game, had a higher average, but just less TDs. He led the league in rushing by about 250 yds, 400 yds and 300 yds in those years while it was just about 50 yds, 100 yds, ad 450 yds for Campbell.

I meant during his prime, as in when Earl was in his prime nobody was close to him just like when Shaq was in his prime, nobody really thought anyone else was at his level during that time. That's why I said Walter Payton because he was playing in that time frame.
