I don't think the Kings really need another big who's D is fair crap, the Kings frontline atm is fairly decent with JT, Cuz, Hayes and T-Rob. The kings need a good passing/shooting SG or SF. Boozer and JT pretty much have the same averages and JT is younger and more athletic and takes less shots to get his averages so I can't see this being benefical to the kings cause at all,i would rather just keep Tyreke

The Kings are going nowhere with their with their motley assortment of guards.

Aaron Brooks: PG
Tyreke Evans: SG/SF but probably most effective at PG
Isiaah Thomas: Combo guard
Jimmer Fredette: Combo guard

I would definitely be trying to unload that roster.

So what is the point of having backups?

You're pretending as if each guy is an established player who needs minutes and a prominent role. That's when it's a log jam. Jimmer & Thomas each have proved themselves to be rotational guards. Brooks also has played on the level of a rotational guard.

Kings don't have a logjam, they just have talented young players wasting away their first few seasons on a franchise with no direction.

Last year I would of said , and probably would of said Jennings for Treke...
Now I am thinking the Bucks might of got the better deal .... with Monte on board with the Bucks , he has taught Jennings that there are other players on the floor that can shoot
Jennings is have his best year in his career = afraid he might get replaced with Monte running the point as well as getting the contract

You can't trade him for a 2 or a 3. It has to be something position opposite. If you trade tyreke it has to be for someone to pair up with cousins up front. Whether that means pau/pf or Tyson chandler/c

They have Hayes, JT and a freak athlete in TRob to pair with Cousins they don't need another big they need a smart player who shoots well @ the 2 or 3 to space the floor because Thomas is the only starter with good range on the shot.

It does. And I don't even particularly like Evans, but I'm open to it. Short term professional vet in Granger, hopefully gives Cousins a few lessons. Indy's ****ing terrible and needs to blow it up.

Utah could use Tyreke and could give some nice assets in return.. They could give up either Hayward or Marvin Williams or if they wanna overdo it, send one of their bigs to sacramento (they shouldn't)

Mo Williams (PG that is a good fit playing of the ball as a shooter)
Tyreke
Marvin Williams or Hayward
Millsap
Jefferson

Jose Calderon
Ed Davis

for

Salmons
Evans

Raps get a talent infusion with Evans, Lowry can control him as a tough floor general, and maybe God told Salmons that Toronto isnt so bad after all...

Kings get a true pg to distribute and feed their talented big men and they get rid of that terrible contract in Salmons, plus they get Ed Davis who still has potential and could do some good with a change of scenery

Tyreke Evans for Derrick Williams

Minny

Pekovic / Stiemsma
Love / Cunningham
Kirilenko / Tyreke
Roy / Tyreke
Rubio / Ridnour / Barea

Tyreke will be the 6th man. Budinger is out so his minutes can go to Tyreke at SF. Reke is also insurance for Brandon Roy who could go down anytime.

Kings

Cousins / Hayes
Thompson / T-Rob
Williams / Outlaw
Thornton / Salmons
Fredette / Brooks

Derrick can start on the Kings and develop together with this current core of young players.

After the first 6-7 games I was all for trading Tyreke but the coaching staff finally got him a role in which he thrives in and tbh I wouldn't trade him anymore unless its for something completely unrealistic like a Rudy Gay which will never happend.

Hopefully his minor knee issues clears up, and he can get back to playing like he was in his last 6 games where his averages were
21.3ppg on 52% shooting 4.3apg and having a huge impact on the game on both ends of the floor, his defense has probably been the best on the Kings this season.

As far as trading Evans for Derrick Williams no chance, Williams doesn't bring anything the Kings need. Hes another tweener and we have more than enough and he can't create shots for others which is what the Kings need.

Agreed. If you put him in a situation to succeed he's still really good. His defense has been great.
