No amount of cherry-picking random sample sizes will justify the Knicks being nothing but an average ~.500 playoff team that got smoked in the first round back to back seasons.

Mike Woodson was also the head coach when they got destroyed by the Heat in 5 games, correct? It is all about putting the Knicks' early success into context. When you have fools saying they are the team to beat in the East and legitimate threats to the Heat, then yes... of course they are a fluke.

If you simply concede that they are a good team, likely to lose in the second round and MAYBE, just MAYBE, reach the conference finals, then we're all good.
