Despite Avery, JJ and our benches efforts to lose this game for us. We need Wallace back. Our D was awful.

His per 36 is over 8 and as a team the Nets are outrebounding their opponents...which is all that matters. But he's simply grabbing rebounds he hasn't the last two years.

I like the roster and victory is always good but Avery Johnson doesn't give good signs.

2 things almost chronic. They start good and take lead because they use Lopez (and maybe other big men) inside. Then they forgot that and try to use Joe Johnson & Deron Williams iso. They lose the lead.

Lopez : 24 points (11/14)

7 shots in 1st quarter & 7 shots rest of the game.

FEED THE BIG MAN.

Well for some reason Brook Lopez always grabs much more rebounds in the first quarter than the rest, not sure why this happens. But yeah lets hope he has indeed improved, the Nets need more efforts from him to be a relevant team.

Yup. He should get close to 20 shots a game and be the true #1. Not Deron and certainly not JJ.

Well whats really good about this game is that we actually outscored the Celtics by 10pts in the fourth to win. Despite a 5-2 record, we usually underperform in crunch time.

And if theres one downside about this team, well, Avery Johnson's job looks safe now with the 2nd best record in Eastern Conference.

Anyone know how many 1st quarter points Lopez averages per game? I'm guessing he's top 5 in that stat.

Sucks that we lost that 22 point lead in the third to Minny. I feel we should be 6-1.

Indeed, we could've gone 6-1 without that mindblowing loss. Hopefully the team actually learns something from it, I just do not want to see games like this again.

sounds good on paper, but i'm not sure how well it works when you feed him for a post play. given his chronic poor starting position in the post, it seems like the baskets come much easier for him when he's in motion, rebounding a miss, etc... i.e., playing off of other people's sets.

What happened to the rebounder he was his rookie year? Smh Lopez. It wasn't special but it's better than these efforts now! He had two chances where's they just slip right out of his hands. I don't get it
