I like the kids' names in Talledega Nights: Walker and Texas Ranger.

Between those 10 names we both made a choice of what we both liked the most.

If you can't make a choice in the 10 names, pull one out of a hat.

Problem solved.

So the name you picked in the end, who's idea was it originally? Yours or your wife's?

I got $100 riding on wifey.

thought about naming kid squirtle or charmander. if he graduates high school will legally change his name charmeleon, if he wins 10 barfights in a row then I will pay him to change his name to charizard. then again he might be a dumbass and just be a charmander forever

Niko is just the short form of Nikola, which is basically & obviously Nicolas in another language, so it's no fictional name. If your brother in law's wife went by that criteria, they couldn't take any name, because there are basically no names that haven't been taken in films, games and novels already.

Ezio
Niko

My BIL said he liked them both but when his g/f found out they were from video games, she instantly shot them down.

What do you think ISH? Yay or nay on naming your baby after a game/tv/movie character you like? Is that extremely geeky?

And assuming you were to choose a name for your unborn child, is there any name from a game/tv show/movie you'd be willing to give your kid?
definitely not naming a kid after a video game. a name in a work of classic lit or something like that? Sure.

New a family that named their kid Arthas, another named their kid Akari, no other weird ones of the top of my dome...

I always thought it'd be cool to use the middle name Raynor.
