Check back tomorrow when he hits the coup de grace: a thread about a breaking news story that isn't actually happening, because the Illuminati are psychically blocking it from our view.
With no intentions of adding anything intelligent to the conversation, Heilige returns to FreeRepublic.
However, Heilige is entirely right. We should never speculate about the future. We should never, ever attempt to imagine how things might be if we act in a brash and foolish manner. This notion that the president of Iran has a large following of Islamic extremists that are willing to blow themselves up for their religion or the country is of little importance to him. He cannot be bothered by such trivial depictions of a very possible future.
Oh, wait.. what's that? 9/11 was a "failure of imagination"? Hmm.. if only someone out there was thinking, "Hey, maybe this whole funding the Afghan rebels thing is a bad idea.. I mean, that Gorbachev guy did
warn us. But he's a dirty commie anyways. Hmmm."
Check back tomorrow when Heilige 1) fails at being humorous 2) assumes that someone believes in the Illumunati 3) blames the liberal media for our failures in Iraq.
Oh, and by the way, I hear the army is looking for a few good men. How you feeling about fighting in Iran? Sounds pretty good, huh?
