Sorry no. Israel launched airstrikes in gaza city, killing a military leader of the Hamas amoung more people and in retaliation Palestinians launched rockets at Israel.
I just find it funny the notion that the islam people just want to kill everyone, it's not just retaliation, if so why is terrorism a recent thing? Why no terrorism in the 50's? in the 60's? In the 30's? etc?

Former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer argues that terrorist attacks (specifically al-Qaeda attacks on America) are not motivated by a religiously inspired hatred of American culture or religion, but by the belief that U.S. foreign policy has oppressed, killed, or otherwise harmed Muslims in the Middle East,[11] condensed in the phrase "They hate us for what we do, not who we are."

The United Nations estimated that more than 700,000 Palestinians were expelled or fled during the conflict from what would become Israel.[84]

Let's not forget the invasion of Lebanon by Israel, and the election of dummie Christian leader backed by guess who, the US.
Israel was the beachhead for a behind the curtains crusade... but yeah 9\11 was not retaliation...
