Another great game by Davis, and by Mr. triple double. I liked in his post game interview that he said his goal is to be the most professional player in the NBA. Honestly, Jose Calderon is the face of the Raptors. He's the longest serving, most consistent, and always comes with a professional attitude no matter what.
On a side note, i'm really not a fan of the Lowry signing. I like Lowry a lot and praised it at the time but only because I figured that we were gonna trade Calderon. I knew Lowry and Calderon wouldn't work as a tandem because we've had this exact same issue before. The construction of this team just makes no damn sense.

We definitely need to see how Lowry fits in when he comes back before Andrea, but for now I'm inclined to believe that the team plays much better with Calderon than he, which makes us losing what seems like a lotto pick for him brutal (since we certainly are not looking like a top 3 worst team in the league anymore with Andrea out). Hopefully we can flip Calderon for a pick now that he's back to being awesome to make us losing ours for Lowry less brutal, and maybe kill our chemistry again to get us back into the lotto...
I was a fan of getting Lowry but I hate that we gave up that pick for him, and also assumed Calderon would be moved to fill in the pieces elsewhere.
That could very well still be the case, but as it stands right now, that trade was a dud.
Houston turns a disgruntled Lowry into James Harden and we hold on to one of the best pure point guards in the league for 8 seasons and hold the serious risk of losing him for nothing.
Jose played an excellent game today. This guy is a true professional. Anyone see his post game interview?
This game definitely brought up his value. I hope we can get more than just a 2nd rounder for him because I would say he's still a pretty key piece for this Raptor squad

A round of applause for Bryan Colangelo, my friends!
Well... looks like our hope of keeping our draft pick is out the window now. When tank commander Bargnani went down our chances of winning and our competitiveness went up, big time. I would've been cool with that if we had started winning early on. But now it's like we're destined to win just enough to pull off a 10 seed. On the bright side of that, if that happens the pick we gave up for Lowry will be a low one and it won't be as bad losing it.

I'm still undecided whether I want us to lose the pick this year or not. I'd prefer us to lose the pick this year in a weak draft and get it over with rather than next years draft but we could suck bad enough to stay in both drafts.
I guess Terrance Ross is pretty much our version of Shannon Brown. I just hope BC's not around when he becomes an FA because I can only imagine the amount of money he would throw at someone who can dunk and shoot 3's.
I missed the first Ross dunk, the putback over Reddick. I just saw it now, both of his dunks got the #2 spot on the top 10 countdown on NBA.com and WOW, the kid gets up so damn effortlessly.

Next time you watch the video, check out Orlando's bench when he dunks. Dude on the end gets excited and jumps out of his seat then realizes "oh shit, he's not on my team" and sits back down.
