Landry Field$'s stats are up the par..

20 mins, 7 rebs, 7 points, 3/4

not forcing anything during the game and played like JYD/J Moon.. (running picks, boxing out, rebounding, ran the lane without the ball, etc)

He's doing his job, but the thing about the Fields is that he's one of the least talented players on our team. So his job is essentially to be the Luke Walton of the team. Come in, play decent defense, grab some boards, make an open shot or two, and make some passes. Nothing special but doesn't hurt either.

IMO , he can be a Tayshaun Prince if potential maximized, realistically speaking

I don't think that's realistic. Tayshaun was a fantastic glue guy. Elite defense, shot the three at an elite level, good ballhandling, playmaking ability and post up ability. Did a little bit of everything.

Fields can't shoot to save his life. Which is weird, because his first year, he was a terrific shooter. If he comes back to the level of his rookie year shooting wise, he could serve a purpose on a good team...

Yeah, disagree on Tayshaun. Not an all-star or anything but dude in his heydey was a major impact player with his defense especially. He had an unconventional jumper but he had a very reliable offensive game and got you a consistent 14-15 every night. Solid rebounder and pretty much an elite defender. If we gave a 24 year old Tay a Landry Fields size contract it'd be money well spent.

Fields - 5/10 FG, 10 pts, 11 rbds, 3 stls

more importantly, EvanTurner went 4/15 shooting

With that win yesterday we're at 13-22, 1 game back of Philly for the 9 seed and 5 games back of Boston for the 8th seed.

Interesting game today. The starters have tremendous games, especially Davis/Amir/Calderon and the bench doesn't show up. Ross only plays 3 mins, Alan Anderson was ice cold, Lowry with another scoreless game, Acy only playing by virtue of trying to get Davis/Amir some rest. As great as Amir and Davis are playing, we really need Val back because we are very thin at the 4/5.

Cut Pietrus and just get a body here that spell those two as Val is still weeks away.

No matter what happens at the end of this game, I feel like that was a stupid timeout call by Casey. Lowry was the hot hand you gotta let your players play when they have the opportunity.

Yeah, Boozer was missing a shoe and Casey calls a timeout and lets him get it back on. You need to let Lowry attack when we have the advantage like that.

I feel like it's a going trend with Casey. It was the wrong call and everyone knew it. He just does not have an eye for the game at all. Kind of similar to SMitch in the sense that he will create a game plan and absolutely will not deviate from that no matter what's going on in front of his eyes.

Yeah, I find nearly every game he makes a stupid decision that leaves me wondering what the hell he was thinking.
