Default Fox News getting beat in ratings by MSNBC since election

(pic is for you, longhorn)

Quote:
Fox News is continuing to show weakness in its primetime schedule in the wake of President Obama's reelection. In the eight days since election day MSNBC's average audience for the key 25-54 year old demographic drew about 8% more viewers than Fox. MSNBC led Fox in primetime on five of the eight days between November 7 and November 16.

I never watch Fox News. I find myself watching MSNBC, even though I'm neither a democrat or republican. Even if MSNBC is biased (at that, they're still nowhere near Fox News' biasism) they're a much more professional, intelligent, etc. news reporting agency.

I do hate Rachel Maddow; and I dislike The Ed Show. I can't stand and absolutely hate Al Sharpton, but outside of those guys, I pretty much enjoy the majority of everyone else in their programming.

MSNBC.com is also the best national news source on the 'net. No question.

Meh, mainstream TV news is worthless anyway. I think Twitter is the best source for finding relevant and thoughtful news/articles from a variety of individuals who are less restricted by the need for ratings.

Cause the average age of a Fox News viewer is like 70.

I watch MSNBC every day. I enjoy watching Maddow and Morning Joe.

But....Fox News >>>>>>>>>>> MSNBC.

Matthews, Shultz, O'Donnell, Sharpton, and Bashir are hacks.

Maddow is by far the best pundit on MSNBC, it's laughable to say otherwise.

Maddow

Morning Joe

Daily Rundown- Chuck Todd

The rest are garbage.

I'm glad in Canada we don't have the personalities that the American media springs up. Maybe my perception is wrong but I don't really see many countries that produce rating seeking nutjobs that the American media does. Am I wrong??? Does the UK or France have people similar to Alex Jones, Glen Beck, Rush etc.

MSNBC has a liberal bias that gets me tired of them but when they report something and we're not talking analysis they're good about keeping it factual. FOX News is paying the price for the faulty election analysis that had their more loyal viewers thinking Romney was going to win.

Yeah, MSNBC is better than CNN factually (http://theconservativetreehouse.com/...-my-questions/.

I gave up on American news media about a year ago. I get most my news from Russia TV and Al Jazeera now.

RussiaTV covers many a topic the mainstream media doesn't even come near. Mainstrem Media news is pretty pathetic.

HOWEVER, anyone who thinks Fox News and MSNBC are the "same" is completely delusional.

The conservative media told conservatives that Romney was going to win in a landslide.

How did they do?

Why do you "hate" Maddow, out of curiosity? She's clearly a liberal and doesn't hide it, but she's also pretty intellectual and she uses facts to backup her arguments.

Can't imagine why anyone would have that strong of a disdain for her.
