I'd have to agree. And let's not forget they are missing their second best player. I know people think/say that they are better off without him, but Wade missing a bunch of games (or electing to sit out) was the deciding factor in Lebron winning it over Durant last year, and they are not always better with him on the floor, either.
2 months ago we were debating whether Carmelo was even that valuable to his team. Now we're debating whether he's the most valuable of them all? 24/7/1.5 on low percentages don't win you MVP. Knicks aren't as good as their record indicates... he'll need at least 10+ wins compared to the Heat/Lakers/OKC to even be given the slightest of consideration.
Lakers without Andrew Bynum 5-5, therefore Bynum=MVP. That logic.
They are 6-5. And when did the Lakers ever have the best record in the league with Bynum in their lineup? And lastly, do you even know how many times Rose completely took over in the 4th quarter in 2010-2011 season?
Bynum has never been the best player on his team, so the whole logic is beyond stupid anyway.
lolol at these dipshit stans.
1. learn how to read duma(ss). he said so far, nobody said it was rewarded in november.
2. 28renboy or whatever the **** your name is, quit pulling numbers out of your ass.

That's still false though. Certainly not better than what LeBron, Durant, Kobe are doing so far. Has he become a way better player than last year? Yeah, nothing else.
It's simple. First tier players at the moment are LeBron, KD, Kobe, and CP3. Second tier is where Melo belongs. Along with Rudy Gay and a few others.
I love Melo but he only got 1.5 assist per game that's not MVP numbers.
If Kobe put those numbers ISH was all over it.
Shaq didnt average many assists...2000 MVP
Allen Iverson shooting 40%.... 2001 MVP
players don't have to do EVERY SINGLE THING to be an MVP. Most superstar players only do 2 things extremely well anyway:
Kobe - Scoring, and Defense
CP3 - Scoring and Passing
Derrick Rose - Scoring and Passing
Westbrook - Scoring and Defense
Durant - Scoring and Rebounding
Carmelo - Scoring and Rebounding (now playing great defense too)
etc etc... There are very few players who do it all.... one could look at prime Jason Kidd, but that's why guys like him are so rare

Shaq?
Shaq averaged more than 1.5 assist every year of his career.
FAIL
I love Melo and I hope to see him win something already, but he is not playing MVP ball, he is one of many reasons knicks are wining, Woodson can win coach of the month, that's all.

If Melo wins MVP then from that moment until forever that award will lose its value.
This is probably the most retarded thing that has ever been posted on ISH, especially considering that the player with your screen name has 2 MVPs, which many people feel were undeserving.
