I think this is what the NBA wants, to expose floppers and make them be ashamed of it. excessive fines or punishment will only piss off fans of the teams. putting them on the spotlight this way doesn't hurt teams and just makes the player look stupid.

Was at this game and the flop was so obvious the entire crowd was booing this scrub. He seems like the kind of guy who doesn't care though, and may even enjoy being the NBA's #1 flopper.

With that said, like most I'm not a fan of this type of stuff so I agree with the fine. He's still a good energy guy and a decent piece to any team.
