Pacers trying to make offensive improvements
The Pacers had to change offensively. They were near the bottom of the league statistically in all the major categories. Roy Hibbert couldn't score in the post, and the perimeter players struggled shooting.
The Pacers are 3-1 since the change, shooting 44.6 percent from the field and scoring at least 103 points in two of the four games. They'll try to keep it going tonight when they take on the San Antonio Spurs at Bankers Life Fieldhouse before heading on a three-game Western trip next week.
"I think we're getting more movement and the ball is moving from the side to side, which is good," Pacers forward David West said. "We're forcing teams to guard us on the back side. Again, that's all we can do. It's still relatively early. We have to continue to want to improve as the year wears on."
