I dont like how most of the dialogues work in this show. There are always long pauses before other person responds.. just so unrealistic.

'Clear' is meant to describe a cleanse of the soul in this episode. Think about it like this. In the first episode(assuming you've seen them all), Morgan's wife turned and he has her lined up in his sights, he literally just needs to pull the trigger. In this episode we find out that his son(Duane) comes to interact with his mother, but can't pull the trigger in time and thus his mom wind's up killing her son. Circle back to Morgan, who had the chance to kill his wife and didn't, later wound up killing his soul reason for living.

This is paralleled against Rick's situation.

Morgan now see's this as an unacceptable fate for anyone to endure, and thus makes it his mission to 'clear'(you can use it in a sense of removal or atonement) the world of zombies so that no one else has to see their family destroy their reason for living.

To comment on the guns..yes it was an option for him to come back to the camp, but it doesn't make sense. Morgan was clearly safe there, the only real danger is to that of living visitors.

iTunes usually has episodes available the day after they air for WD for $2.99. I wouldn't waste your money on the season pass, from what I've noticed people upload the 'extras' to youtube.

What bothers me is in S1 Rick and Glen gut a zombie and smear its guts/ blood all over themselves to mask their smell in order to walk around unnoticed by walkers to get to that truck, remember?

Yeah, seems like they forgot all about doing this, too.

Would make it a helluva lot easier to roam, hunt, and scavenge as well as clear some areas out but nah, let's just keep doin' things the dangerous way, more fun that way.

Great observation! However, we can't assume that it's also safe to just smear yourself with blood and guts on a daily basis.

That's not healthy even with standard cadavers.

Exactly. And it manifests itself physically in his literally "clearing" his traps. And putting the zombies to burn. That's what he's actually doing right after his rant. But yeah, his story is meant to be a butterfly effect against Rick's, which I didn't actually remember until they showed the "previously on" segment before the show, which also ruined the reveal of him for me, but whatever.
It would've been cool for him to join the group, but this moved his arch to a logical conclusion. It would be cool if the group joined him and became a more aggressive zombie eradification mob. That'd make more interesting programming.

Well I wasn't exactly saying on a daily basis but you would think it'd be ideal to do it in a situation like the prison (or even Hershel's farm but too late for that) when an area needs to be cleared out, they could have a specific set of clothes to put the zombie blood etc on them then clear out the walkers slowly but surely instead of doing the same sneak attacks, way more safe imo.

They could even do it on food and supplies missions but for some reason it hasn't even occurred to them again.

Only issue would be other survivors killing or shooting at them thinking they're walkers.

They do only use the smell concept when it's convenient for them. They totally ditched it at the start of season two, when the horde came at them and they were hiding under the cars. TDog was hemoraging blood, but none of the zombies could smell anything, and didn't react until they heard noise. It was a nice concept, something to specifically seperate their zombies, but they aren't as consistent with their concepts as they could be (that was one of the interesting things about that first season and a half of True Blood, was that they invented these vampire concepts, like the being invited in, the silver, and they kind of made them work all over the story).
They do kind of hint at the smell thing though from time to time, like Michone and her chained zombies, and recently Andrea used the chained zombie to get to the prison.
