At the end of the episode the survivors are all splintered into separate groups.....Glenn and co. on the bus. Maggie, Sasha, and Bob together. Rick and Carl together. Tyrese chased after the little girls. Michonne disappeared on her own after owning TG. Darryl and Beth ran off together. I'm betting the second half of the season will be the aftermath and the separate groups trying to survive and find each other.
I feel bad for Glenn. He has to carry those bums on the bus to safety.
There was a guard standing outside the RV with an assault rifle when The Governor entered it.
So are they just supposed to sit there and give up?
So where are they suppose to drive their vehicles when they leave and come back with supplies?
They had a main entrance, that entrance is fine. but they have the surrounding sections that are really of no use. That's where the attack came from, the surrounding sections are also where the fence was collapsing, so if the zombies do manage to get in or they have somebody break through the fence the ditch is there to give them some fighting chance.
All this is great and dandy, but you only have so much time to do this throughout a day. Like farming, keeping the fence up for current zombies and if you go outside the fence you have to worry about attracting more.
Really... that's the excuse? they don't do shit half the day. They don't go on supply runs every day, actually rarely go on supply runs. We only get to see a very small portion of their day to day lives. They really don't have much to do all day but sit around.
And even then, you might think that they're protection is their number one priority. They have dozens of people there that we never get to see, maybe they put some of those f*(ckers to use and have them build a ditch or something.
Maybe some adults don't want to learn to defend themselves? You know how people are in this world. They don't believe in guns or killing people no matter what. They live it up to predator to make the choice.
So they're surrounded by zombies, the threat of zombies and living in constant fear is there. Some of them lived under Governor and they know the threat of an intruder is real.
You really think the majority are gonna be cowardly defeatists?
The entire show has made a big deal on how people "change". We've seen some of the weakest people adapt, they've had entire episodes dedicated to people changing and adapting. Yet the other dozens of people aren't gonna change??? Again, not to mention the FACT that f*ckin children took arms!!!
What if Rick simply said "either join us and learn to defend and fight back, or get the f*ck out, we don't need dead weight." Don't you think they'd at least make an effort to pick up a shovel and dig a ditch? help fortify shit?

Yea....I already had a major character death spoiled for me just off googling the name of a villain mentioned above. Which I guess is my fault...but it sucks. Luckily they have changed so many deaths from the comics to something totally different(In the books Tyrese is killed by the governor the exact same way Herschel was...which isnt a spoiler since it now cant happen).
It could be interesting if there are multiple groups split from this original group and Carol is in one with Tyrese without him knowing what she had done. I really want to see her turn into a villain to Rick though.
Btw, was I the only one that wanted Rick to die when the Governor was choking him? I knew it wasn't likely, but I wanted it to happen anyway.
I wanted the gov to chop off Rick's hand before he died.
