I enjoyed the episode. It was cool to see Daryl's breakdown or whatever you want to call it.
That scene was fine, but it really isn't a good enough payoff to justify the episode.
I really hated the episode. There are probably episodes that are worse is the sense that stupid shit happened, but this was the worst "nothing happened" episode there was. The writing seems to be getting even worse somehow. Without any major changes, I'm feeling more and more that the only thing that grabs my interest in this series is when a main character dies. I feel like that is the only thing I look forward to, but it seems that no more characters will die at least until they meet up again as a group, so my weekly anticipation for this show is almost non-existent. Even when there is a major character death, it is becoming more predictable (Who didn't know Hershel was about to die?). I was questioning how much longer I can go if the show doesn't improve. Usually this far into a series, I finish watching just to see how it finishes, but it is losing me week by week, and season by season (really it is half-season by half-season).
This is one show that I feel would benefit exponentially if they removed even one sequence of commercials, but it's obviously a moot point (never going to happen)
With that said, im not as put off by the direction that WD is treading down as many of you seem to be. I will say that some of the acting (the actress who plays Beth in particular) has been pretty woeful at times.
Maybe I'm just being impatient because I'm wanting the show to get to some of the more interesting parts of the comics. I guess we got some good aspects from this episode. Learned more about both of them.
Bro, I realize you're not revealing details, but still leave comic references out.
Not defending it because the episode was painfully boring, but the writers didn't have much else they could do going up against the Oscars. Would have been a bad idea to have an episode air this weekend that drastically advanced the plot.
That being said, next week's episode better f.ucking own it
