Raptors considering Pietrus

The Toronto Raptors are searching for depth at small forward with Landry Fields and Alan Anderson out for extended time.

Mickael Pietrus is now being strongly considered as an option for the Raptors.

The Raptors already have 15 players on guaranteed contracts.

Why is it so hard for the organization to just play our younger players, rather than bring in role players that serve no use for a perennial bottom tier team.

Also, what qualifies someone to be a GM? I bet someone with a strong financial background would manage this team better than BC.
