I'm sure D'antoni would like Bargs as he is Italian and can shoots threes. And i always thought bargnani would flourish next to a center like dwight. Not as bad as it looks but doubt lakers fans wanna do it. Could turn raps into a low seed play off team.

Thats the trade that OP mentioned. Its the only one that would work if they were to trade since Bargnani only makes 10m this year and Gasol makes 19m. Gotta fill in the gap somehow, and Calderon does that with his contract of 10m.

ps- Honestly though, I can't even watch Bargnani play; I get physically ill. It's not that he doesn't have some offensive talent, it's that he plays like an ISO shooting guard, and his defense and rebounding is atrocious. I don't think there is a worse help defender at the forward spot in the entire league.
pss- I would take 38 year old retired Gasol over prime Bargnani.
