Default If the Lakers continue to be mediocre will D'Antoni be replaced also?

Thoughts?

And has any team ever replaced two coaches in one season?

I don't think they do anything till the trade deadline, or until Pau plays bad enough to get booed out of Staples. they won't replace another coach, it will be the players this time

I doubt it. Hopefully the team runs smoother when Nash comes back!

Lakers!!!

D'Antoni is there to stay, at least for this season to see how his system works out.

Who would they bring in, anyway? There are no slam dunk choices for a coach, except PJax, and they burned that bridge to the ground.

No, if anything Pau ass is next.

No way we trade Kobe, D12 or Nash at this point.

So If anything its going to be Pau because he is playing out of position right now, shooting 40% for the season.

If Ontoni won't go deep in playoffs he will get fired.

Lol Lakers won't fire D'Antoni that's stupid. They'll at least give him 2 seasons and bring in some players that fit his system. Remember this team looked like complete shit the last year under Phil too. Mike Brown was a complete joke and his system looked beyond horrible despite having a healthy Steve Nash

No way the Lakers pay two coaches not to coach.

worse case scenario, they'll just tell kobe to freeze him out and let him go green light for the rest of the season.

Of dantoni doesnt work out and they face first round exit.. I see them firing him..losing Dwight and essentially blowin this team up minus Kobe..

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the title of the thread. There's no way they make a change this year. Even the Lakers aren't going to have that much money invested into coaching.

If they fire MDA then they would be paying well over 10 million to two guys to sit at home and eat Dorito's lol. It would prove yet again though that the Lakers are not afraid to spend money to win, not that the need to prove that.
