Default Program Alert: UNC/Miami on ESPN(Brandan Wright on ESPN now)

Right now 4:00 PST. Just thought that some of you might want to get a glimpse at Brandan Wright I think we might end up drafting if we get a nice pick.

I mainly only watched the first half. He blocked some shots, played nice D, but damn those guards on that team LOVE to shoot the ball. It seemed like they were ignoring him whenever he got position in the post. He did run the floor pretty well, he'd fit great with Kevin and an uptempo PG and maybe Artest if he would stick around while we rebuild for a year.

Just looked up his stats. He had 8/7/1 which wasn't too impressive, but he had 4 blocks which definitely was. If he would get the ball more he could score more(only got 5 shots). He's had plenty of other good games this season though. He's no Durant/Oden but I could see him being a Bosh/KG type player and we could still use one of those. Honestly I'd be happy if we got a top 4 pick(only guy projected to go in the top 4 I don't want is Noah). Right now we'd be around 5-8 I think, still low enough to grab Horford who I also like. Man I don't know what's taking Petrie so long. Get cap room, picks, more young players, and a pass 1st point guard. This draft is too good to miss out on.

Durant reminds me of a KG/Dirk mix on offense and KG on D.

After watching PHX tonight I figured out who Brandan Wright reminds me of... Amare Stoudemire! Seriously, the athleticism and the wingspan remind me of Amare. Amare has more athleticism but Brandan has a ton too. He gets down the floor fast and so he's great on the break. Rebounding leaves a bit to be desired but he's only a freshman. Great shotblocker. I think if Brandan Wright puts on some more muscle(not a ton but he needs to get stronger) he can definitely be similar to Amare.
