Man... The AFC East is the armpit of the league this year. One team over .500 (and just barely so)?
There's 3 other divisions that are also like that. You could say that the NFCE only has 1 team with a losing record, now is that so ugly? 3 dangerous and good teams that are just a bit inconsistent. All 3 are in the top 10 in offense. The NFCS, AFCE, AFCS and AFCW are all worse, and the NFCW is about the same. I think common sense would tell you that the AFC West is the bottom division.

Wow, I didn't realize Calvin Johnson has been raping the league right now. He is averaging 9 catches 158 yards and a TD over his last 5 games.
He almost undoubtedly will get the record, it's more a matter of by how much.
The Lions receiving corps is in dire straits right now:
Burleson out for the year with a broken leg
Ryan Broyles out for the year with a torn acl
Titus Young placed on IR for being a worthless sack of shit
That leaves Mike Thomas as the number 2 target, with someone else (maybe Brian Robiskie) who hasn't played a snap with the Lions this year as the number 3.
I could see Calvin getting close to 2000 yards just because that is the only thing left the Lions have to play for. That's the main reason I'm going to keep watching games, as the team has just given up on winning.
