I'm not responding to this nonsense anymore. You have lost your mind.
What? I never said Carmelo isn't a top 5 SF. He just isn't a top 5 player or the best player at his position. Harden is a top 5 player and the best SG in the league.

Facts are facts.

A top 5 player shouldn't be as easy to knock out of a game as Harden was in OKC.

It may just be an isolated incident due to the situation and adrenaline going back to OKC but he had zero impact in that game.

17 points (3-16 FG) 2 reb, 3 ast, blocked about 7 times and 3 turnovers in 39 minutes.

Everyone has bad games, but if that is the kind of statline he is going to put up against athletic perimeter defenders and rim protectors then he is not top 5.

Not going to be any cupcakes late in the playoffs.

Well said. Although, Carmelo hasn't always played very well in the playoffs himself. Still needs to show me he can raise his overall level of play, outside of 2009... something tells me, he will do that this year and some more years to come.

How were Melo's teams THAT bad? I guess AI is pretty terrible. And Tyson Chandler. His team is meaningless though because he is a black hole. I'm not gonna sit here and say his team failed him. No he failed his team.

I agree.

Melo seems hungry this year and wants to add new dimensions to his game. I've been wishing for Melo to return to 2009 form as an efficent and dominant scorer and he has but his new focus on defense is more than I expected.

Knicks fans are lucky to have him honestly.

Didn't say he played with nobodies.

Not worth trying to explain.

Where is Melo on your top 10 hated players?

Yes they would. Or at least damn close to it.

Picture the 3 of them playing how they played in the Olympics. Easily the best team in the league.

Maybe. OKC was never stagnant though. Their whole team was one-on-one players, but they always seemed to have good chemistry. All their guys would catch, and then do something, and if nothing was there, pass. Melo isn't that fluid, as far as I know.

On the other hand, Melo would give them a back-to-the-basket threat.

Durant doesn't need the ball in his hands too much, but I could see Westbrook and Melo both being seriously slowed down by having to share the ball with each other. Durant can go 15 minutes without scoring and it's no big deal, but you get the sense that Melo and Westbrook have to be getting shots up in order to feel involved.

Yeah, I was gonna say... Melo at the 4. Ojesus.

Bring Perk off the bench. It actually makes their team much, much better. Then they could switch shit around and always have Melo or KD in. Or even Westbrook. That's a ****in team USA quality starting lineup.

I think people are using Harden too much to troll these days.

Nah, you'd just say push the ****ing ball. You got 3 guys that can't be guarded by one player, that would be ridiculous. The other two are defensive specialists.
