I'm not really sure what you are trying to say here. Sure, Obama has played a role in this situation and I think he isn't really focusing on the important issues surrounding the fiscal cliff... but wtf does the election or Benghazi have to do with what I just said?

well if you paid any attention to how our system works you'd know gerrymandering districts and staggered elections play heavily into that.

It's funny. Dems got more total popular votes for the House, but Republicans retained more seats due to heavy gerrymandering.

If the Repubs got more votes but less seats, these twits would be screaming bloody murder, ACORN, Black Panthers, and every other election fraud nonsense they could come up with.

Fraud is an issue. There are many accounts of Democratic fraud.

The negotiations would be past the first stage if Obama wasn't so concerned with the election. He didn't care about what was happening, just that he wanted to be reelected.

I seriously doubt that negotiations would have been further along at this point regardless of the circumstances. The fiscal cliff was built in the first place because our legislators are reluctant to actual implement any real policy objectives.

Maybe so, but more negotiation time couldn't hurt, right? Unless it, you know, might have an impact on your reelection.

Repubs had the same incentive to focus on the elections. The results of the election affect the balance of power and public perception which is key in a negotiation like this.

There was never going to be real progress on any issue this big prior to the election because of the simple realities of an election. The repubs were never going to compromise with Obama on this when there was the(however unlikely) possibility that Romney might win and they would be in control.

Approval/Disapproval %`s of the handling of the fiscal cliff so far:

Obama 52%/43%
Dems 39%/49%
Repubs 27%/63%

Public perception of the GOP will be awful if a deal doesnt gey done.

There is doubtful to be any released, per the 1982 RNC vs DNC court settlement.

Dude. Wolrd Net Daily? Seriously? Did you miss the part where I asked for a credible case?

So what did this Republican poll watcher do in the case irregularity? Was it reported to election officials? Was it reported by the Republican Party of PA, if he was an official poll watcher? Because I can't find any evidence of that.

Also, there's this. Also in PA. Another machine doing the opposite, registering an Obama vote as a Romney
http://techcrunch.com/2012/11/06/wat...-romney-votes/

Both cases were most likely bad machines.

If the case of the video, I linked to which was widely reported on election day, the election officials took that machine out of commission until they could resolve the issue. So again, what was the official response in the case you cite? Or did he not report it?

Vote fraud cases have been investigated and sometimes prosecuted since 1982. In fact, I remember Federal Attorneys General investigating vote fraud under Bush. I also remember them being fired by Alberto Gonzales and Karl Rove for finding zero evidence of fraud and declining to prosecute. Since Rove wanted a big splashy fraud case to come out during the election, he had them fired.

World Net Daily is an insane, conspiracy theory laden right wing whacko site.

Try a link that's a little less biased next time.

When I say you are rattling off Rush's talking points, I didn't realize you were reading stuff that's even CRAZIER than he is.

Try reading NPR, CNN, hell, ANYTHING but that garbage.
