Sure, but is what it is, dude'll always be a stringbean. Hustle guy that'll get you putbacks and do an above average job switching off screens onto ballhandlers, he's become a pretty solid role player.

Unfortunately they never give up, fight hard, play better than expected, make huge comebacks, but always fall short lately. It's rough not having a "go-to guy" on the team...

I feel like I say this about every potential FA, but I wouldn't mind OKC signing him to maybe fill the Nick Collison role as Collison ages. I think Collison could be close to the same player for another 2-3 years, but he's already 32 and will start slowing down. I don't trust Thabeet to be this effective off the bench longterm, so someone like Wright who can play both frontcourt spots, can score the ball a little bit and play good defense, would be nice. That's basically describing Nick Collison anyway, but Wright is 7 years younger.
