FG%: 79% FROM THE FIELD (53-67)
FT%: 77% (37-48)
Playing like the best center in the East right now. He should start in the East, but won't be voted in. He better be voted in by the coaches, because he truly deserves it. Last season Chandler led the league in FG% at 68% which was remarkable & broke some records, this season he's shooting even better at 72%. One of the best finishers in the game IMO & has become a pretty big offensive threat in the pick & roll.
I remember everyone criticizing the deal the Knicks gave to Chandler, I think he's earning that contract.
All is forgiven w/ me and Chandler. He's been balling like a madman recently. He seems to be back to form considering the horrid level of play he exhibited in the first couple of weeks of the season...
Tyson has been great lately IMO. Even though he doesn't seem as tenacious on defense as he was in Dallas, he still plays hard every possession and his presence in the paint has definitly meant a lot to the Knicks defense; been affecting every shot in the paint. He seems to really know his role on offense too and has been making the most out of all his opportunities to score. I can't remember him taking very many bad shots at all. I think he fits perfectly on the Knicks honestly
His defense is still not quite where it was last year. His shot-blocking is down and so are his minutes. But I feel good that he'll be better than last year.
As for the all-star game...he's one of the guys but Noah and Varejao are beasting. Noah's team is .500 tho and Varejao's sucks. Bosh is still playing great and probably the best is Lopez. Horford is in the discussion. So many lack of centers.
