20 20 can help the team win or it can help the team lose.. you can't tell by the boxscore.. you gotta watch the game and watch for the little things.. you could be dominating the game, or you could be making your team play crap, despite the numbers.

I would LOVE to know how grabbing 20 rebounds has a negative effect on the game...

He's talking about Lebron putting up empty stats. They didn't win in spite of him or without him putting up these stats. That's what I was responding to. Seriously.

i hate the way the media just downlplays the help he has and makes it seem as though he is playing with scrubs. He won a title playing with Wade and bosh, wow that must have been so difficult....such an overrated payer

This thread makes me realize the greatness of Dirk. Star power forwards can't get it done. This is a guard dominated league.

Griffin, Love, and Aldridge will never get it done as the stars. Bosh, Amare, and Gasol couldn't get it done as leaders on their teams. This is a guard dominated league.

Dirk got it done without a superstar front court player. I'm not being sarcastic. Look at other power forwards and what they've done alone.

Tim Duncan did have Manu and Parker. So he is a special case. I don't know what to say in his case. I wonder if Duncan could win with the Mavs teams Dirk had.

A cheap championship with asterisk.. You call that a winner? He's still a loser man.. He need to prove he can win in a real regular season not fake shortened/lockout season..

More like Spurs C team to me, three superstars sat out, thats even much worse than Knicks without Melo. But well, imagine Spurs only rested Duncan or Parker instead of all big three, they probably could've blown out Miami by 15-20.

And you can even go so far as to add KG, Webber, etc...KG had to go play with an all time great SG and SF to win his ring..Its a perimeter oriented game with all the rules favoring the ball handler...
