So? That doesn't make him very mobile. History says that he won't last in the NBA. IF he does make it he probably won't play very much.
Another thing, Yao Ming is realistically the only player that has broken the rules for men 7'4 and above in this league. So Sun Ming Ming's dominance in the NBA, seems slim to none.
EDIT: Ralph Sampson, I forgot about him, dude was an athletic freak for 7'4.
i saw the documentary about him a while back. he had surgery to remove a tumor that was growing on his pituitary gland that was making him so freakishly big(i think former dallas mav Podkolzin had it also) but didn't have the $ to do it. he came to the states and lived w/ some guy who helped him get the surgery w/ donations. he played at a local community college and then got signed to a cba team i think?
he's got size no doubt, but his stamina is pretty low. i would say he's more of just a gimmick than a talent, and i would highly doubt he makes it to the nba level.
He's big, yes, but he's weak and slow as heck. . . Hey may do decent in the ABA but I don't think we'll be seeing him in the NBA for a while (if at all). And, there's not really much point to putting him with Yao, is there? They'd get run all over. . .
he's a like a taller/ faster version of olowakandi
No, Olowakandi is bad, but Sun is way beyond bad. He has no chance in the NBA. I'd love to see him make it, but he has no athletic ability whatsoever. I got to feel for him though. Can you imagine how much it'd suck to be that tall and still not be able to make it to the NBA.

No, he won't even be a solid player on an ABA team, and I'm sure they know it. He was signed purely as a publicity stunt. Everyone wants to come see the giant play. This guy didn't contribute at all for the Dodge City Legends, and I don't see why it'd be any different on his new team.
