I love how the thread title says 'China man', and no one comments.

Oddly enough, according to this article, the owner of Sun's new team is interested in signing both Bol and Muresan for a special exhibition game in which they'd play the biggest frontcourt in basketball history.

go towards the end of the clip. it's pretty embarrassing to watch him.

7 fu.king foot 9 inches, got badly hung by the rim like grant hill drinks sprite. he also tossed up one of the ugliest wide-open layups i had ever seen from a guy wanting to make the nba. his game is not even close. it's off by a few galaxies.

seriously, how much crack does a g.m. have to smoke to consider wasting their pick on this useless giant?

Four words: Defensive three second rule.

This guy has almost zero chance of being a productive player in the NBA, and by productive I mean 10th or 11th man productivity. As in coming off the end of the bench to block shots. He may have a career in the minor leagues as a shotblocker though. Pigs will fly before this guy becomes a productive player in the NBA or even Europe.

No, he won't even be a solid player on an ABA team, and I'm sure they know it.

The ABA is a crap league though. Much, much weaker then the CBA.

I saw the videos before. Dude moves on his picks so much I'm surprised they don't call it.

When does the ABA season begin? I'm interested in monitoring his progress.

I was going to comment on this, but when I opened up the thread and scanned the 3/4 pages full of replies, I was pleasantly surprised that no one was making an issue of it or ethnicity at all for that matter.

However, on a grammatical level, not even considering the pejorative historical context, the term "China man" annoys me.

When you describe a person from a country, it takes the form "adjective" - "noun", NOT "noun"-"noun". For example:

"German man", NOT "Germany man"
"Canadian man", NOT "Canada man"
"French man", NOT "France man"
"English man", NOT "England man"
"Russian man", NOT "Russia man"
"Italian man", NOT "Italy man"

and... "Chinese man", NOT "China man".
