Let's stop living in the past. The Lakers are not contenders anymore. The fact is that Howard wasn't much of an upgrade to Bynum.

Out of the two, Dun was easily the better option.
I mean, look at what he did with Brand/Kaman. Brand was better than Gasol but Dwight is worlds better than Kaman was. Not to mention the defensive work he'd do with the squad. If I recall correctly, the Clippers led the league in deflections on D that year with Dun at the helm.
Call me crazy, but I think this is the perfect team for Dun to coach.

Grind it out is the style they need to play imo. Let Gasol be the point guard, essentially, from the high post.
It all comes down to if Dwight steps up and takes the leadership role or not if you ask me.
