Default Steve Nash will return in limited fashion for Lakers

Contrary to recent reports, Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni told reporters before Sunday's contest against the Jazz that guard Steve Nash "probably won't" play during the team's four-game road trip this week. Nash, who is recovering from a non-displaced fracture in his left leg, played the first two games of the season and has now missed 18 consecutive games.

Analysis: D’Antoni originally told reporters earlier in the day that there was a chance of him returning during the road trip, but has now dispelled that possibility. That said, Nash has been able to participate in some workout drills at the team's facility this week and appears to be slowly improving. This is the longest stretch of games he has missed since the 1999-2000 season, so we are not exactly sure how quickly he can return to game shape. Fantasy owners should keep the 38-year-old stashed in all formats while he works back to full strength.
