And, it was more than simply a "reverse layup". You really have to appreciate the nuances of the move. JR's 360 wasn't better, because JR's was pre-planned.. all one fluid motion that he intended to do. MJ made mid-air adjustments at the last second when he was at the peak of his jump. The body control demands are off the charts.
MJ's athleticism was definitely ahead of its time, so it measures up and , in some cases, surpasses standards by today's players.

Nope..he def traveled.
- a reverse Layup that get's blown outta porportion by Nike....just as his "switch hands" layup did.
- Jordan intended to reverse the layup as he did countless times....JR Smiths required much more athleticism and control
- 360 > reverse to move shoes
