I think he is becoming very overrated. He can only shoot. He has not a quik step or the ability to explode past defenders. He is also far from a facilitator. He is a one-trick-ponny, but he is great at his trick, which is shooting.

He plays off his shot thats why he gets so many layups and tear drops everyone has to guard him so high

Mayo looks like a scrub who scored 40 pts.

Just like those back to back 50 pt games by antawn jamison or
that 50 pt game by tony delk.

He has no height..no athleticism..no hops....no fast first step...but he can shoot.
I guarantee you that Vince Carter abuses him in practice in their scrimmages.

2:52 looks like a move a scrub could pull off?

Tony Delk never averaged 20+ at this clip.

He can play off the ball, has a pretty good arsenal of offensive moves, has being able to stay in control and play within himself and take what the defense gives him. His game is very smooth and he can get to the rim when he actually tries to do it. He's just so fluid that it looks easy.

Plus, he's the main reason Dallas is staying afloat while dirk recovers. I think Dirk and Mayo will make a very good 1 2 punch.

OJ was my favorite player for a while with the grizz. Until he looked uninterested and didnt accpet his role. If he came off the bench nailing these type of shots we would of been a force in the playoffs last year. Good to see him getting his... hell be back to 15 ppg with good percentages when dirk is back tho

I love his game. Real pretty, smooth, controlled. I could see the Spurs making a move for him once Dallas gets old and starts to give up.

But he is slow as shit. Essentially only a jumpshooter. Reminds me of Ben Gordon; he's kind of like Kobe, but with the desire to be a good player, not the best.
