What do you expect him to do more?

he needs to pass more and let the others score, let the points come from ebanks duhon etc in a team effort and instead focus on defending carmelo. If carmelo only goes 5-15 instead of 10-15 and kobe passes up about 15 shots to duhon and meeks who went 4-17 but needed some more shots to get it going then they would have won handidly

It is what he is NOT doing that is the problem. Where is the defense .. the extra pass .. the team chemistry .. the hustle .. the motivation .. smart play ..

As the team leader who dictates the offense, he should be out there getting his teammates involved, hustling on defense, and if there is a huge hole in one aspect of the game, he should figure out what the problem is and try to fix it.

Usually this is the responsibility of the coach, but Kobe IS coach, President, and sex slave of the Laker's organization, so the blame should solely rest on him because team chemistry is the biggest problem of this team and this is his responsibility when he decided to punk Dwight and take this role. He asked for it, now he should take responsibility for it.

Scoring is less than 10% of being a leader. FACT.

Lakers need some scoring outside of Kobe, go and pick up Chris Douglas Roberts....and cut one of the scrubs on the bench....

You're such a child.

Your team is losing and yet you won't take any criticism towards your team. What are you 5 years old ...

It is one thing if they are winning; sure you can defend them until the cows come home because guess what you have FACTUAL EVIDENCE to back up your claim, but when they are losing and you fail to accept any criticism, you are making yourself out as nothing more than a pathetic clown.

Grow up.

Even the biggest Laker whore (Magic Johnson) is calling them out; time to open your eyes and jump on the bandwagon you ignorant sl*t.

I still can't get over how spastic Kobe stans are.

You had him falling out of your Top 5 for the Lakers struggles and then flip a switch to call him "the greatest player ever".

for now, they to downsize and play a slow grind-out style, as paradox as that sounds...

meeks-kobe-ebanks-metta-dwight

is their best line up. jameson should be moved, he is totally out of place.
he cant defend and doesnt stretch the floor.

i would try to move jameson for a keith bogans/ deshawn stevenson type defender/ tough-guy/ spot-up shooter.

run isos and post ups for kobe and dwight or even a p'n'r with them two and let the others spot up. be physical on d!

make it sort of the bad boy version of d'antoni's system.

At this point honestly what can you do?

If anything I would ask that the Lakers front office be even more patient and don't make any hasty decisions/quick-trigger trades until they've seen this play out a full season with a healthy Nash and Gasol.. even with Phil an injured nash/gasol would have essentially be 25-40% of the roster depleted, 2 out of the 5 players on the starting roster and 2 hall of famers.

So yea.. for now.. nothing. As far as what the Lakers need though it's an identity and defensive philosophy.. something Mike D'antoni has provided nothing of.
