but Taylor Swift kinda killed it in like two months.
I was once a huge proponent of the Rihanna smash hit single, "Diamonds" and the subsequent remix with Kanye West, but god damn Swift swiftly killed Ri's momentum with this monster third single called "I Knew You Were Trouble".
I dl'ed her album RED a while back, and thought it was trash...I mean...how many songs is she going to have about relationships going bad?
I don't know HOW I could have ever possibly skipped over a track so immense. I keep replaying that night in my head, and I just don't know guys. I honestly do not know. Regret and lamenting on the past will only get you so far, unless you sing about it on tracks like this. GOD DAYUM!
My epiphany: Last friday I was having sex and the TV was on MuchMusic, a Canadian TV station much like MTV and others of that sort(they actually play music tho) and this song came on twice in a row. One programming block ended with her song and the other started with it, I was feeling it during first play, but never looked over to see who it was out of respect for the girl and the moment.
The second time this jam came on all of that went to hell and I was discreetly watching to see who the hell sung the song. To my surprise Taylor Swift wasn't playing the victim anymore and showing some sort resemblance toward being a woman and not a middle schooler.
This song is a killer.
